So how does our proposed filter work? It is all rather complicated, but we have worked with our best technicians to translate their technical know-how into the following easily understood explanation.
As you can see from the diagram, dirty bits originating from less enlightened ("savage") nations pass from left to right through the Automatic Conservatising Layer (ACL), which we will simply call the "Filter" below. The filter removes any undesirable elements from the bits before passing them on to your computer. Thus you and your family are entirely protected from exposure to any Unwanted Material. In the event that an entire website needs to be censored, a special component called the Australian Unsavoury Domain Annihilator (AUDA) may be used to expedite the process.
How fast is it?
Our best experts estimate that the entire process occurs in less than one-eightieth of a pfe (Possum's Flatulent Emission), which is good enough to satisfy any Australian customer, given the speeds that they are currently used to. However, in the event that AUDA is used, the process can take up to three hours.
